Library Checkout Policies:

Checkout Policy for Kindergarten: 1 book for 2 weeks

Checkout Policy for Grades 1-6: 2 books for 2 weeks

*Students are not limited to one checkout per week*

Books may be renews. Fines are not charged, but any damaged or lost books must be paid for during the relevant school year.

Keyboarding Note: Grades 3-6 students may practice typing at home by going to typing.com. Please encourage children to use correct hand position if they are practicing at home.

Book Tweets

Encourage your child to “tweet” a favorite book! Any 3rd -6th grade student may fill out a book tweet sheet in the library. Those who “tweet” 5 Indian Paintbrush or Newbery books will be included in an end-of-year celebration!

New to the Library Media Center this Year!

Maker Day: On this special day, 3rd through 6th grade students will have the opportunity to code, write, create and use their brains in creative and engaging ways! Possible projects include a visual arts station, Hour of Code, Story Jumper, Ozobots, and Makey Makey.
