The 2024-2025 Sundance Elementary School Student Council members pose for a photo.

We would like to announce the newly elected Sundance Elementary Student Council Representatives for the 24-25 school year! 5th and 6th grade has been so patient throughout this process, so…without further ado, the newly elected Sundance Elementary Student Council class representatives in

5th grade are: Ella Ellsbury, Lochlan Gillis, and Jane Stark
6th grade are: Liam Bifulco, Maya Miller, and Reagen Sproul

Congratulations! We can’t wait to see how you make our school an even better place!

Mrs. J wanted to express how proud she is of each and every candidate in 5th and 6th grade. There were 34 applications submitted between the two grades. These students had to submit an application AND get up in front of their classmates for an interview. That takes some courage to put yourself out there to not only better yourself, but also those around you, so well done, you all should be proud of yourselves too!

What Are They Up To?

The Sundance Elementary Student Council has started off their service by doing their civic duties. The Student Council members are in charge of leading the school in the Pledge of Allegiance each morning. In addition, if the flag in front of the school ever has to be lowered for any reason, the Student Council is in charge of that. Student Council held their first lunch meeting and have been busy bees since! The SES Student Council members helped facilitate celebrating our custodial staff on National Custodian Day.
