Care Solace

Crook County School District #1 is committed to the well-being of all students, staff, and their families and partnered with Care Solace to provide an additional layer of support. We navigate the mental health care system on your behalf to find community-based providers and secure appointments as quickly as possible with the best care possible. Our coordination services are paid for by Crook County School District #1 and are provided to you at no cost.

Counseling Resources:

  • We utilize the Botvin LifeSkills curriculum in grades 4-6 at Sundance Elementary. This highly effective curriculum has been proven to help increase self-esteem, develop healthy attitudes, and improve their knowledge of essential life skills – all of which promote healthy and positive personal development and mental health.
  • The Be Well Coalition of Crook County is a community group working to collaboratively provide resources, education, and advocacy for mental health and substance abuse prevention.
  • Kinship Connections of Wyoming is a free service to grandparents, relatives, and other caregivers who are raising kids that are not their own.
  • Find and get connected to local resources for food, rent, utilities, and job training through Wyoming 2-1-1.
  • Find information and tools for parents of children at every age to address a variety of challenges at Boys Town. They also offer a 24/7 hotline for parents seeking a counselor or parenting advice at 1-800-448-3000.
  • Safe2Tell Wyoming is a 24/7 statewide tip line that allows all Wyoming students and community members to report school safety concerns confidentially.
