Welcome back!

I hope everyone had a fantastic summer. I hope you were able to spend time doing what you love and you are ready for the start of a wonderful school year. The first day of school this year will be on Tuesday, August 22th. The school day begins at 8:10 am and will dismiss at 3:50 pm on Monday through Thursday. The school calendar can be found on the district website at www.crook1.com. You will see there are enrichment Fridays scheduled, those days will run from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm. We are so excited to have your student back in our building. If your student is going to be absent, please contact the office at 307-283-1227.

Students will have the opportunity to eat breakfast before the day starts. If you would like your student to eat breakfast at school, please make sure your student has arrived with enough time in the morning. Breakfast will start at 7:45 am.

We have new staff members I would like to welcome; Brian Roberts (6th Grade Teacher), Joe Houle (Custodian), Tiffany Wolfskill (Early Literacy Teacher) and Danielle McKenzie (2nd Grade Teacher). Please help them feel welcome to our wonderful school.

We will hold an open house on Thursday, August 17th from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm. This is a great time to come meet your student’s teacher and drop off school supplies. If you do not have your student’s school supply list, you can pick one up in the office. School supply lists can also be found on the school website at ses.crook1.com.

The Sundance Elementary handbook can be found on the school website as well. Please look it over and if you have any questions, please reach out.

I am excited to get started with a new school year. This is the perfect chance for a new and fresh start. Thank you for everything you do for your student and we cannot wait to help them have a successful school year.

As always, please contact me with any questions, comments or concerns!

Best wishes,

Robert Wiegel
